VR Cowl Oculus Quest 2 Carrying Case Launched In US
A new VR Cover Oculus Quest 2 carrying case is now available and cheaper than the official offer from Facebook.
The case costs $ 29 and not only fits the Quest 2 and its controllers, but also has room for the headset, which comes with at least a few other items from VR Cover, such as B. the Facial Interface and Foam Replacement Set, the Head Strap Foam Pad and the XL Spacer. Note, however, that Facebook’s official Elite Straps and VR Cover’s Quest 2 controller add-ons like the handles and protectors won’t fit inside the case. Check out some pictures below.
The Elite Straps fit into the alternative from Facebook. So if you already have one, it’s best to be fine with it. In fact, you can only get the Elite harness with battery using the case that comes with it. It costs $ 129, but it’s still one of the best purchases a Quest owner can make.
If you don’t, this case might be a good choice (although we haven’t tried it ourselves). The hard shell is covered with a nylon fabric and the interior is padded for protection. There are also extra pockets for other items and Velcro straps to keep the kit in place when you move around. A handle above will help you carry it.
VR Cover’s products have been selling out pretty quickly since Quest 2 launched, although the VR Cover Oculus Quest 2 carrying case is currently only sold in US stores – there are no signs of this in European or global stores yet.
