Iron Rebel Is Out As we speak On Oculus Quest 2 And PC VR

Iron Rebellion, a promising new VR mech shooter, is available today for Oculus Quest 2 through App Lab and PC VR Headsets.

Black Beach Studio’s game will be released on both platforms (it’s coming to Steam on PC) in Early Access and offers a first look at the multiplayer modes in 1-on-1 games. Check out a trailer below.

Iron Rebellion Early Access Versions

Iron Rebellion puts players in the cockpit of various mech classes and sends them into battle with immersive controls. We’ll definitely be interested in whether the game finds an audience considering how naturally the mech genre lends itself to VR.

However, this is only the beginning of the developer’s plans for the game. A roadmap confirms that the studio hopes to add 4v4 multiplayer and new maps, modes, and classes over the course of Early Access. If it gets the funding, the full version will start with a total of nine classes, 12 weapons and three maps. From there, the studio is hoping to add single player and co-op modes, though that will largely depend on how it sells.
