Topgolf with Pro Putt gets full swing courses and you can register for the beta today.
Currently only available on Oculus Quests, the game was originally released in May 2020 as a putting-only experience. A full driving range with top golf mini-games was added in November.
The next big update will bring golf courses in full swing, something that no game currently has on the Oculus Quest Store.
Ryan Engle, Founder and CEO of Golf Scope, announced the feature on Twitter today along with a beta sign-up form. Engles tweet only mentions Quest 2 – it’s unclear whether full courses will also be available on the original Quest.
We checked Pro Putt’s putt courses when they were first published and gave them 4/5 stars. We praised the realistic yet accessible gameplay and fun mini-games, but noted that there were only a limited number of courses. A lot has changed since our review, so we’ll look back to this update as soon as possible. The new update will be free for owners of the game.
There’s currently no word on a full release date, but you can sign up for the beta test to be the first to try it out.
