Find your next quest experience through App Lab

Finding out and downloading App Lab games for Oculus Quest 2 can be a challenge if you don’t know where to look. First, click on any of the links above and buy or install a game that sounds exciting to you. Then you should be able to open the Oculus mobile app, find the App Lab game in your official library, and select “Install on Headset” to add it to your Quest 2.

We split the free and paid experiences as many people see the App Lab only as a source of free content. But App Lab is also a way for games to get officially listed on the Oculus Store, and a way for developers to connect directly with players for feedback and financial support. Don’t sleep with the paid games, which offer longer experiences and often cost far less than official Quest games.

If you’re wondering where to start with this long list of Quest 2 App Lab games, Crisis VRigade 1 and 2 along with Deisim are popular releases with extensive updates, lots of replay value, and lots of fans – so you know your way around Get One Quality experience for your money. As for the free experiences, Ancient Dungeon already offers an in-depth experience with fun battles that will keep you entertained for hours. For more relaxed (but still challenging) gameplay, Puzzling Places made our list of the best SideQuest games for Oculus Quest long before it became an App Lab title, and it’s well worth your time.

The App Lab will hopefully add more SideQuest games over time and we will keep this list updated as soon as they are approved. By then, if you want to try an unofficial SideQuest game, you’ll need to follow our guide on how to sideload apps on Oculus Quest. If all you’re interested in is official Quest experiences, now is the time to check out the best free games for Oculus Quest 2.

Protect your Oculus Quest 2 from sweat and dirt with these face covers

The Oculus Quest 2 standard face surface has plenty of foam padding. However, this material is a magnet for sweat, bacteria, and acne-causing dirt. Yuck! For this reason, we recommend investing in one of these leather, silicone, or flannel face covers that are easy to remove and clean, making your VR game worry-free and more hygienic.
