The event will take place entirely online this year and has a grand prize of S $ 20,000.

Levels and prizes

Each of the four levels of the tournament extends over a week.

Level 1: Mind Skill Games

Each participant must complete the first level between March 1st and 7th.

Your team will have to rely on strategy, logic, visualization and memory skills to complete the four web-based mini-games.

Your team’s average score is used to determine your qualification for the second round.

All participants who pass Level 1 will receive a Mind Skill certification from NCS, and the top scorers will go into the second round.

Stage 2: Ideas for Impact

The second stage will take place March 8-14.

Your team will design a futuristic robot or app that incorporates technologies such as 5G networking, Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning to address a social problem and create positive impact.

You are encouraged to present your creative idea as if you were introducing the actual product to potential investors who may turn your idea into a reality.

The best teams will receive a pair of wireless gaming earbuds and move up to level 3.

Level 3: Solve with synergy

Your team will meet on a day between March 15th and March 21st.

The mission is to defeat the malicious Artificial Intelligence (AI) in an eased virtual escape game by solving a series of puzzles.

Teamwork and collaborative problem-solving skills are vital in this round.

The top five teams get an Oculus Quest 2 and reach the finals.

Level 4: The innovation room (final)

The five best teams will compete in the finals on March 27th for the main prize of S $ 20,000 in cash.

Each team has to present their level 2 robot or app solutions to a jury on the world’s first virtual reality demo day.

The teams can access the demo day through Oculus Quest 2 VR Sets.

The event will be broadcast live to the public for you to review the winning teams’ innovative ideas or show support to the teams.
