Oculus Quest and Rift S Silicone Covers Accessible for Buy Now

If you use your VR headset a lot for exercising, you probably know how lucky a nice cover for the device can be. This is something we’ve talked about in the past here at VR Fitness Insider, and if you haven’t invested in a nice one, then you should definitely do it.

Fortunately, for those with Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift S headsets, new covers are now available for both platforms. A new list of covers for Quest and Rift S has now been made available through VR Cover, a company that specializes in the sale of accessory accessories for VR devices. Both of these new additions are relatively inexpensive through the website, costing $ 14 each.

The respective covers for Oculus Quest and Rift S are made of silicone materials that are intended to be wiped off more easily. In addition, they are designed to be “hypoallergenic and skin-friendly”. Even if your skin is more sensitive than most, you shouldn’t have any hard skin areas. The VR Cover website describes this practical cover as “It still feels soft and offers a good grip due to the unoiled surface. It also helps to extend the durability of the foam by protecting it from normal wear and tear. “Since both are non-absorbent and also washable, it’s easy to keep them in good condition for long periods of time.

How can these protective devices for your VR headsets be attached and work? Well, in the case of these redesigned iterations for the Rift S and Oculus Quest, each has been specifically designed for the form factor of each appliance. After you’ve removed the front face portion of each headset, you can put these covers on before reattaching the first part. From here, you can use the VR headset as normal and you should find that the overall experience is much more comfortable and easier to clean. Because your skin has less direct contact with the VR hardware itself, it won’t get as greasy or dirty, which means it will stay in a nicer condition over the years.

If you’re interested in purchasing one of these covers for your own kit, you can get the Oculus Quest version here or download the Rift S iteration here. Again, I can’t recommend enough if you train a lot with VR. It makes a huge difference in the long run.
