Oculus Quest 2: Easy methods to Share the Display screen of the VR Headset

Oculus Quest 2 is a great personal virtual reality system that you can use anywhere. However, if you have friends and family in the room, you can share what you see by casting your Quest 2 to a TV.

Casting requirements for Quest 2

In order to cast your Quest 2 to a TV, there are a few things you need to do first. The most important thing is to have a supported casting device. The Quest 2 can be cast to Google Chromecast, NVIDIA Shield, Google Home Hub and NVIDIA Shield TV.

This might sound like a short list, but any Chromecast-compatible streaming device should work. Many smart TVs are compatible with Chromecast Casting or have Chromecast built-in.

If you don’t have a compatible TV or TV-connected device, you can still cast your Quest 2 to a phone using the official app, and then just plug it into a big screen with an HDMI adapter, according to How to Geek.

You can do this through the headset itself or broadcast through the app. For headset-based casting, you can use a Xiaomi Mi Box S with Chromecast built-in, but according to Business Insider, any device will do, like Google’s Chromecast with Google TV.
