in the Virtual Reality News
April 16, 2021 – To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the resident Evil Survival horror franchise, Oculus announced that video game developer and publisher Capcom is partnering with Oculus Studios and Armature Studio to bring Resident Evil 4 into virtual reality (VR) exclusively for Oculus Quest 2.
“We love that you are experiencing the world of Resident Evil 4 in a new medium – a medium where immersion in first person perspective, touch controllers, and a lack of technical ingenuity of what you know and love, add new depth to this critically acclaimed game, ”said Mike Verdu, vice president of content at Facebook Reality Labs.
Few details are known to the company at this time, but it has been stated that it will have more to share (including gameplay footage) during the Oculus Gaming Showcase taking place next week.
The storefront will be available on Oculus’. Pull out, Facebook, and Youtube Pages on April 21 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time.
