Finest Archery VR Video games For Arrow Flinging Health

Archery is an action-intensive, full-body activity, especially in VR. Most people don’t realize that the leg, core, back, and upper body muscles all work together to stabilize the body for an accurate, room-scale shot. Even if you fling arrows around quickly and not stand still enough to get headshot accuracy, you’re still using these major muscle groups to simulate bow retraction and arrow release in VR.

Bow hunting says the torso archery muscles of the “shoulders and upper back are the rhomboids, levator scapulae, trapeziuses, deltoids, latissimus dorsi, and the rotator cuff muscle group that includes the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and teres minor.” Note that as humans, we tend to prefer our dominant hand over our less dominant one. To get a symmetrical workout, switch arms every now and then during the game to split up the slow burning of lactic acid and an extreme case of poor pasta the next day.

When you want to exercise more and try to break plateaus while losing weight wear a weight vest gives you extra weight to get your calorie burning into high gear. Not only is archery good for a heart-wrenching workout and steam vent, it can help clear your mind, build coordination that will make you a more accurate VR gamer or athlete, and can help you do that Taking life less seriously. Hey, we can’t all be Oliver Queen from Arrow or Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games, but we can definitely give it a try!

In death

This is a beautifully designed archery game that has been compared to the style of Dark Souls. To move In death Players can use their arrow, teleport, or throw a crystal to fall and dodge room-scale attacks. Procedurally generated maps and long open corridors are perfect for hurling arrows at grotesque servants, sword-wielding knights or hooded creepers that may appear randomly to scare the “you know what” out of you. As an early access game, it’s exciting to see that there is a save point in Purgatory II and higher levels / chapters to take breaks, give friends a chance to play, or segment your workouts without having to start over .

QuiVR

If you’re looking for a VR archery game that keeps your arms active as you and other players tear swarming waves of enemies from life with charged arrows, you’ve come to the right place. QuiVR is considered one of the best archery games for virtual reality due to its fast arrow shooting as well as the super reactive and realistic attack behavior of bosses and enemies. There are no sitting ducks here for targets, you’ll need to use your coordination skills to time arrow hits, move around the room scale, and get past gates. QuiVR is currently in Early Access, but is still well playable with frequent updates and added bosses.

Elven assassin

It’s an elf-versus-orc world in Elven assassin where you take on big stocky orcs who will try to beat you with an ax and dragons that you set on fire if you let them. Avoid being thrown in the face or a fiery explosion by crouching and then quickly ricocheting off piercing arrows from a distance or up close with a barrage. Defend the city solo or join a team of 4 to put an end to the invasion. If you feel like playing against other archers, choose their multiplayer deathmatch mode. As it is now, Elven Assassin is an Early Access game, but fully playable with an increasingly difficult arcade mode, multiplayer PvP, new villains, and special skill advancement.

Holopoint

Similar to a boomerang Holopoint is a game in which you will aim and shoot arrows at blue targets, enemy samurai and ninjas that will shoot straight back at you. You should crouch or dodge them to avoid damage and move around the room scale so as not to be overtaken by bosses in the combat dojo. Waves get harder and harder as you unlock, so speed shooting is the best option here. Holopoint is a fully released game and receives seasonal updates like the Winter Raid Event and additional items like carbon fiber bows that you can purchase for customization. Be fair warned this game can get really intense and provide solid workout. You’ll be sweating in no time.
