How to clean your Oculus Quest 2 controllers

1. Slide off the battery cover on each controller and remove the battery inside.

2. Replace the battery compartment without a battery.

3. Use a cleaning cloth of your choice to wipe the controller. Make sure, however, that he is not soaking wet. You don’t want it to be so wet that liquid gets into the controller.

4. Let the controller dry for a few minutes.

5. If necessary, use a can of compressed air to forcibly blow out any particles that may be in the crevices of the controller or around the analog stick.
6. If the battery contacts are corroded, gently rub the corrosion off the battery terminals with a cotton swab dipped in vinegar or lemon juice.
7. Allow additional drying time with the battery compartment open if you need to clean the battery terminals.
8. If your battery was corroded, make sure to use a new battery.
9. Replace the battery and close the compartment when you are finished cleaning.
