Fb Launches Oculus Quest 2 VR Headset

Interest in virtual reality has increased during the COVID-19 lockdown and people are looking for alternative sources of entertainment. Because of this, Facebook announced last month that it would be launching a new Oculus VR headset soon – and it was released today. The Oculus Quest 2 is now available in stores and through oculus.com.

The Chemical Brothers “Galvanize” was released in 2005, but it still has a positive response.

The new headset offers improved performance and resolution in a wireless VR unit. The first version of the Oculus Quest became the company’s best-selling VR headset. With a number of new functions and tools, Facebook wants to take advantage of current interest and attract more people to its virtual environments.

And it’s not just about games – Facebook announced the beta start of its new social VR experience “Horizon” back in August, which offers a platform for interaction in the virtual world.

Facebook is also working on new workplace features in VR, which, given the move to remote working, could also be a major selling point for the future technology.

As mentioned earlier, VR has already seen a significant surge in interest this year, which has allowed Facebook to focus even more on its next-level VR tools. Quest 2’s advanced system will offer more options in this regard, and Facebook has already determined that VR will be the future of social networks.

It could be the beginning of the next era that will eventually include new marketing and contact opportunities. It might be worthwhile to make sure you are ahead of the trend now.

Quest 2 is available now and starts at $ 299.
