Deck out your new Oculus Quest 2 with discounted equipment

During the Christmas holidays it was easy to pick up the topic on Twitter that many of you either bought or received an Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headset. Well, in perfect timing, Oculus has cut down many of its official accessories for the Quest 2 that can help protect your headset and make it more comfortable to wear. We’ve seen promotions discounting these add-ons when purchasing a headset, but never alone, that’s why they’re featured prominently today.

Best Buy has the best deal on the Elite Strap, which replaces the cloth strap that comes with your Quest 2. It distributes the headset’s weight more evenly across your head, with adjusters on the top and back of the Elite Strap. It’s typically $ 49, but it’s only $ 34 on Best Buy (it’s also $ 34 on Amazon, but it apparently ships in five to six weeks). It costs $ 39 at Walmart.

I recently bought one and am in the process of buying another – not because I love them that much, mind you. In my experience, with normal wear and tear, they will last about a year, with the plastic side arms breaking at some point. Thankfully, Oculus now offers a two-year warranty on this product and the company can replace broken straps for free.

The Elite Strap for the Quest 2 comes with a plastic back plate that distributes the weight better and hugs your head with an adjustable rotary knob.

I also recommend the Oculus Quest 2 zippered pouch, which provides a safe place for your headset and controllers when they’re not in use. We also see this product being discounted for the first time, going from $ 49 to $ 39.

Micro center retail stores aren’t too common in the US, but if you have one near you, you can get the best price on Apple’s new AirPods Pro with MagSafe Charging. These started at $ 249.99, but they have dropped all the way down to $ 159.99. You can reserve a kit online at the nearest store, but you will actually have to go to a micro center store to pick it up. This may be worth it for some, but don’t fret if it’s a no-go for you. We’ll likely see this deal with other traders in the coming weeks.

The Microsoft 365 Family plan (one year, auto-renewal, up to six people) – which gives you access to apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage for each person and more – sells for the normal price of $ 99.99, but with a $ 50 free gift card. You will receive a digital code for Microsoft 365 Family, but the $ 50 Amazon Gift Card will be mailed to you.

In the latest round of “Offers that I should have had the patience to wait a few weeks for,” Shin Megami Tensei V for the Nintendo Switch has gone from its normal price of $ 59.99 to $ 34.99. This game is often compared to Persona, and it is not an unfounded comparison as the franchise was spun out of Shin Megami Tensei.

You’ll notice some similarities, especially in turn-based combat, the enemies you face, and the fact that they’re both long-running RPG adventures. However, Shin Megami Tensei has a reputation for being more difficult and brooding than Persona. They are all great in their own way.
