Oculus Quest 2 VR headset deal: The way to get it for $269 (Replace: Expired)

Use one or more Amazon promotions to save on the hot new Oculus Quest 2.

The Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headset is sure to be a hot topic this holiday season. It’s awesome to start with – literally “too good to be true” Scott Stein’s review – and it’s actually pretty affordable at $ 299.

If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, this is a rare opportunity to get it for even less: for a limited time, you can get it 10% cashback when pre-ordering the Oculus Quest 2 64 GB and pay with your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card. That would bring your net total to around $ 269.

Likewise, you can get 10% cashback when pre-ordering the Oculus Quest 2 256 GB and pay with your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card. That would bring your net total to around $ 359.

As already mentioned, these are pre-orders: Shipping is planned for October 13th – which also happens to be the case Prime Day.

What’s wrong with this Visa card? It has no annual fee and usually pays you back 5% on almost all Amazon purchases. But there are bumps like this on occasion, and in fact, Quest 2 is just one of many 10% cashback offers Amazon is currently offering.

And to sweeten this even further, if you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber and don’t have that visa yet, you can Receive a $ 100 Amazon Gift Card instantly when you apply.

I think you could use this card to bring the Quest 2’s purchase price down to just $ 199, but I don’t know if the 10% cashback option would still apply. Alternatively, you can use the card to get the Quest 2 256GB for just $ 299.

However you string these options together, it’s arguably the best Quest 2 pre-order deal you’ll ever find.
