Carly and the Reaperman coming to Oculus Quest 2 with Decision Video games as writer
On its first release initiative, Resolution Games is partnering with Odd Raven Studios to bring the VR game Carly and the Reaperman to the Oculus Quest and Quest 2 platforms.
Resolution Games has built a solid library of VR titles as the company acquired original products like Acron: Attack of the Squirrels! and licensed companies like Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs. However, with the company’s latest project, it will take on a publishing role for the first time. Resolution Games has signed a contract with Odd Raven Studios to bring their VR game Carly and the Reaperman to the Oculus Quest and Quest 2 platforms for the first time.
Resolution Games announced the new collaboration and the launch of its release initiative in a press release on November 16, 2020. As of that day, Resolution Games officially signed a deal with Odd Raven Studios to bring the popular Carly and the Reaperman to the Oculus Quest and Quest 2 platforms sometime in the first half of 2021. It’s the first time that Resolution Games takes the lead as the publisher of external VR titles.

Carly and the Reaperman have done well both as solo players and as asymmetrical co-op, allowing one or more players to help Carly traverse the world of ghosts with her own platform and the helping hands of the Reaper who moves of platforms helps in their reach.
“Carly and the Reaperman is a great fit for the Resolution Games library of multiplayer co-op games,” said Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games. “This partnership is a major milestone not only for Resolution Games, but also for the VR industry.”
Indeed, it is an effort that Resolution Games will continue. The group has been aggressively trying to attract high profile developers like Left 4 Dead inventor Mike Booth and id Software alumni Tom Hall.
With Resolution Games and Odd Raven partnering for the launch of Carly and the Reaperman, we can assume that Resolution will get more titles as it expands its VR game library.
